You are not invisible. You are not alone.

If you’re a spousal caregiver—exhausted, overwhelmed, and quietly carrying more than most will ever know—this guided study is for you.

In You Are Not Alone, author and former caregiver Linda Waltersdorf Cobourn walks alongside you with honesty, wisdom, and grace. Through personal stories, thoughtful reflection, and deep encouragement from Scripture, Linda invites you to discover what it means to be sheltered under the wings of a faithful God. Each chapter offers:

  • A verse from Psalm 91 to anchor your day
  • A real-life caregiving reflection that won’t sugarcoat the struggle
  • Scripture-based insights to renew your heart
  • Gentle questions to help you process your journey
  • A short prayer to help you rest in God’s care

Whether you are just stepping into the caregiving role or have walked it for many years, this book will remind you of the unshakable truth:

You are seen. You are loved. You are carried—one step at a time

Frequently Asked Questions

What made you decide to write this book?

I never intended to write this book! I was merely trying to survive a season that felt overwhelming. As I walked through the caregiving time, God kept meeting me in small, unexpected ways. I realized that the story wasn’t just for me, but was to encourage others who were walking difficult journeys.

Was it difficult to share such personal parts of your life?

Yes, I needed to allow myself to be vulnerable. But honesty can be where healing begins. When we tell the truth about where God meets us, it gives other permission to see God in their own stories.

How did your faith change during caregiving?

My faith grew as I lived it. I learned to trust God in the middle of exhaustion, uncertainty, and fear. Psalm 91 became my lifeline and kept God close.

What do you hope readers take away from your book?

I hope they walk away knowing they are not alone. God is near. Everyone’s story matters and even in the hardest seasons, we can find refuge under his wings.
